Meet Kathrine Edmunds!

A citizen of the unique, nothing-quite-like-it-in-Sevier-County community of Kodak, TN, Kathrine Edmands very much enjoys the overall region of the Eastern Tennessee Smokies and looks forward to being a part of bringing new individuals and families to the area so they can share the same awesome experience.

Real Estate is Kathrine’s first and foremost career and ambition having been interested in the industry and what it can do for helping others since she was a teenager. We are very pleased to have Kathrine as part of the Mountain Realty Group and we are sure our clients present and future will be pleased she is part of us as well!

We asked Kathrine some fun questions to get to know her better and we want to share them with you!

What drew you to wanting to work as a Real Estate Agent in the Smokies, focusing on the valley area with Mountain Realty Group?

I really enjoy the lovely people in this community, especially the team members at Mountain Realty Group. I really love working with individuals that genuinely care about their clients and are committed to making sure they love where they live.

Do you have a good short story you could tell us about living in the Smokies, or working in Real Estate – our goal is to share funny and uplifting things?

When I was a teenager I got in my first wreck, and I was devastated. I was probably in my car for about 5 seconds before the other person involved got out and gave me hug. They checked on me, sat with me, and told me stories to make me laugh until the very nice police officer arrived to help us. During that time, countless people stopped on the side of the road to check on us, pray for us, and offer their assistance.
I don’t think I could ever find a better community than the one I live in now. These are some of the nicest people on the planet.

What is your advice to someone who may be thinking or moving to the Smokies or maybe having a second home here?

Really take time to enjoy the scenery here. It can really change your perspective on life to take a break, relax, and enjoy nature. Also, supporting small businesses is something you will never regret. The locals here are so kind and eager to help; it’s really a joy to be able to give back to the people that make this community so great!
